This week The Leaf Press has mostly been packaging calendars …. In addition to the usual calendar orders for the 2016 Owl desk calendar and 2016 Patterns desk calendar, 300 Suffolk 2016 calendars have been packaged for Suffolk Secrets and So Southwold. The calendars were dropped off in Southwold this morning and will be going in the welcome packs for customers staying in managed properties over the Christmas and New Year period.
The calendar features patterns relating to various Suffolk locations, including Southwold, Lavenham, the Suffolk countryside, Orford, Felixstowe, Beccles, Lowestoft, Walberswick, Woodbridge, Westleton, Dunwich, Aldeburgh and Bury St Edmunds. Each pattern has images relating to that location, as well as the time of year – Easter eggs for March for example. (Yes, Easter is that early next year!)
The calendar is displayed on a mini wooden easel, meaning it’s ideal for use on a desk or shelf. The month cards are held in place by a mini wooden peg. Below are some pictures of the calendar assembly process, which stretched over several days and quite a lot of floor space!
The Suffolk 2016 calendar will be joined in the welcome pack by a jar of Naughty Sheep jam, a packet of Paddy and Scott’s coffee, a cherry bar by Wheaten Mill and a winter themed notebook by The Leaf Press. I hope the Suffolk Secrets and So Southwold customers are pleased with their calendar and welcome pack and have a fantastic stay in Suffolk!
