The Leaf Press spent a lovely day yesterday at the #TrulyVintage2015 Wedding Fair at Glemham Hall talking to brides and grooms-to-be. Most couples seemed to be planning weddings for next summer and it was great to chat to them about their plans.
The marquee was adorned in beautiful bunting made by The Vintage Bunting Hire Company. There were a variety of fabrics and colours, all in tasteful vintage patterns and it made the marquee look lovely. It also made me want to hide the fairly amateurish bunting I’d created for my stall, although pleasingly (and surprisingly) it hadn’t fallen apart by 4.00 pm. The Leaf Press’s stand was surrounded by lovely music throughout the day from Olivia Castle and Nick Raisin and also from the records being played by Belle Vue House Hop’s fantastic wind-up gramophones on their stand next door to me. Directly opposite me were stunning flowers made by Myrtle and Mint.
It was a beautifully sunny day and both the hall and gardens looked magnificent. Here are a few photos taken of the gardens during a mid-afternoon wander.
Now comes the time to prepare samples and follow up on leads from #TrulyVintage2015, so it’s back to the printing …!
